Living Life the Lasallian Way

(Involving Oneself to the Current Issues of the community) 

 

I am thankful for the opportunity that De La Salle Zobel has been giving me which is reaching out to the needy. This has helped me to open my eyes and heart to the world that I am living in. This gives me the chance to tell the world that I can also lend a hand, that I am not worthless as a member of my society. Through these outreach activities where I have involved myself with (ALE for Teachers, Galilee, Sibol Formation and relief assistance to calamity and war victims), I grew as a person. I grew more in love. I have strengthened my faith in God and most of all, I have deeply felt gratitude in God for making me see myself as the one who cares and lends a help rather than the one being helped. These out/ in reach activities have given me chances to experience life as guided by the Lasallian Core Values, most especially, Compassion.
